Structural Project Engineer

Multidisciplinary teamis hiring a Structural Project Engineer for their growing Orlando team!

Responsibilities :

• Extensiveknowledge of local and national building codes and designpractices
• Designof new building structures as well as structural alterationsrenovations and additions to existingbuildings
• Preparationof structural integrity and assessmentreports
• Designand detailing of structure including calculations and computermodeling for steel concrete masonry and timberstructures.
• Manageand Coordinate projects with clients and otherdisciplines.
• Collaboratewith Senior engineers to assemble structural workproducts.
• Coordinatewith Architectural Electrical and Mechanical drawings and attendcoordinationmeetings.
• Performsite reviews and construction administration services during theconstructionphase.
• Knowledgeof standard construction practices and the ability to work withcontractors to address constructionissues.

Requirements :

• BSor Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineeringpreferred
• 5years of structural designexperience
• EIorPE / SE
• Experienceusing structural analysis / design software (Revit RISA 3C RISA FloorADAPT)
• Experiencedesigning a variety of projects (Healthcare Commercial PublicSector Industrial Education and / or Institutionalprojects
• Extensiveknowledge of local and national building codes and designpractices

Salaryis commensurate withexperience.
