Budget Analyst IV

Position Description :

Program Analyst will support NASA JSC Program Office providing Budgeting, Forecasting, Assessment, and Cost Estimating expertise. This position is located in Houston, TX.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• Provide Integrated Cost and Budget support.
• Provide management with analysis of NASA and Prime contractor's performance, variance analysis, and impacts.
• Perform budget formulation and execution activities. Interpret and apply Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) guidance.
• Provide current / future-year spending plans, readjust spending plans as changes in funding occur.
• Advise senior management on the status of fiscal resources / future requirements.
• Conduct budget trend analysis on NASA and Prime contractor's cost data for use by decision makers.
• Develop and identify the Program Baseline, Program Baseline Attributes, and reference points.
• Provide analysis of cost performance of NASA CAM's budget and projects.
• Develop cost analysis of major projects within the program, including the forecasting and identification of issues and developing recommendations to resolve these issues.
