A company is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to transform cyber-insurance through advanced modeling and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, calibrate, validate, and stress test probabilistic cyber risk models for the (re)insurance and financial services markets
Implement methodologies to quantify the financial impact of cyber risk on entities and large insured portfolios
Integrate and automate modeling processes in the production pipeline and communicate results to stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
Education : PhD or MS in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer / Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Experience Level : 7+ years in applied statistics / data science or quantitative risk modeling with scalable models in production
Modeling Expertise : Experience with GLM and stochastic frequency-severity models, Monte Carlo simulation, and portfolio aggregation
Data & Engineering : Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and experience with distributed processing frameworks
Cloud & MLOps : Familiarity with AWS services for model development and orchestration frameworks
