Building Substitute
- 1.0 FTE split between FAIR School Crystal, Sandburg Middle School and Robbinsdale Academy
- Salary based on Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Full-time benefits are included
Responsibilities :
- Provide a consistent and safe learning environment for all students
- Follow the plans and procedures put in place by the classroom teachers
- Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher
- Work with students of varying ages and abilities
- Support in a positive manner existing practices regarding student behavior and conduct
- Attend and participate in all required staff meeting and department meetings
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the current needs of students and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support with small group academic and behavioral instruction
- Support the overall functions of the building
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification :
- Applicants must hold a current MN teaching license.
- Ability to adapt to plans and specific classrooms
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the current needs of students and maintain a positive learning environment
