Building Substitute

  • 1.0 FTE split between FAIR School Crystal, Sandburg Middle School and Robbinsdale Academy
  • Salary based on Teacher Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Full-time benefits are included

Responsibilities :

  • Provide a consistent and safe learning environment for all students
  • Follow the plans and procedures put in place by the classroom teachers
  • Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher
  • Work with students of varying ages and abilities
  • Support in a positive manner existing practices regarding student behavior and conduct
  • Attend and participate in all required staff meeting and department meetings
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the current needs of students and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support with small group academic and behavioral instruction
  • Support the overall functions of the building
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification :

  • Applicants must hold a current MN teaching license.
  • Ability to adapt to plans and specific classrooms
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers and support staff to meet the current needs of students and maintain a positive learning environment
