Job Description : We are looking for a Chemical engineer to join our engineering and technical aspects of our R&D projects in advance energy area.

You will help schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage technical activities while assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, communicative, observant, organized and committed to reaching project goals.

  • Support project team.
  • Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
  • Help determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
  • Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates.
  • Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.

Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.

  • Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal, state and local regulations.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Necessary Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience with project management is helpful.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Exceptional problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Helpful Experience :
  • Experience with government grants
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Salary : Commensurate with experience
  • Job Type : Full-time
  • Schedule : 8 hour shift
