Paralegal Legal Assistant

Candidate must be a professional, detail-oriented individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must also have the ability to multitask and have excellent time management skills. The candidate will work with office members and the attorney to set up, organize, and advance cases. Candidate will also assist in clerical duties and other tasks, as needed. Candidates must be willing to work on cases in litigation. • Candidates will be responsible for general office tasks, assisting the attorney with clerical duties, setting up files, ensuring files are advancing through the system, and other tasks as needed.
• Candidates must also be willing to work on cases in litigation. This includes preparing and filing pleadings, going over cases with clients, preparing and answering interrogatories, as well as scheduling and keeping an organized calendar of upcoming deadlines. Qualifications :
• Professionalism, time management, organization, and communication skills are required.
• Prior legal experience is a plus.
• Candidates are also preferred to have experience working in fast-paced settings, as well as the use of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel. Compensation : $20 per hour
