As the HR & Benefits Specialist, you’ll play a central role in ensuring a smooth and compliant employee experience across HR functions. You’ll manage core benefit processes, employee relations, and compliance documentation—all while supporting a positive workplace culture through timely, organized, and empathetic service.

Location Dallas, TX | Onsite (Downtown, candidates must reside within 20 miles)
Compensation & Schedule
- $25 / hour
- Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM; 35 hours / week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and updates with carriers and brokersConduct new hire benefit orientations and manage COBRA transitionsReconcile monthly insurance invoices and maintain billing accuracyAdminister 401k plans, annual audits, and compliance reportingProcess and track employee leave requests, including FMLA documentationProvide first-line support for employee relations, coaching, and policy guidanceFacilitate offboarding, including exit interviews and asset recoveryMaintain HR metrics, turnover data, and employee surveysRespond to unemployment claims and general HR inquiriesSupport internal wellness, engagement, and development initiativesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2–5 years of experience in HR and benefits administrationBachelor’s degree requiredProven accuracy in HR data reporting and analysisStrong mathematical, analytical, and organizational abilitiesCORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)Paylocity (preferred)Familiarity with self-funded benefits plans (preferred)PREFERRED SKILLS
Interest in creative industries or arts-related activitiesExperience supporting employee development programsEvent participation with SHRM or Dallas HRLEGAL NOTICE
