Government & Capital Property Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate or mid-Level Government & Capital Property Specialist to join the Government Property team in Mesa, Arizona.
Position Responsibilities (Associate - Level 2)
- Supports in the administration of the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property
- Assists in performing audits, documenting processes and procedures and investigating and reporting lost or damaged property
- Works to determine property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligations
- Uses off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish property records for company or government property
- Supports the accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy
- Assists in conducting physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations
- Assists in the verification that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations
- Supports the review and confirm that service work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy or recommended industry standards
- Assists in the determination if property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirements
- Assists in the performance of disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirements
- Supports inventory adjustments, liability determinations and title issues
- Handles basic property related activities at completion or termination of contract

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
Experience supporting deliverables for both internal and external customers1+ year of experience working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment1+ year of experience using Excel to perform data analysisPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)
