Web Portal Development Lead

Project Overview

Client is seeking a Web Portal Development Lead to guide the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade web and mobile portals supporting our insurance platforms. This position plays a key role in enhancing digital engagement for customers, agents, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a true full-stack developer -equally skilled in front-end and back-end development, API integration, and SQL. This hands-on leadership role involves collaborating closely with business teams, technical leads, and developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and end-to-end development of secure, scalable web and mobile portals.
• Build and maintain modern front-end interfaces and robust back-end systems.
• Collaborate with UX / UI designers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
• Develop core portal functionalities supporting policy management, claims, billing, and pension processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and implement cybersecurity best practices.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, manage sprint planning, conduct code reviews, and oversee CI / CD pipelines in cloud environments (AWS).
• Analyze usage patterns and performance metrics to enhance portal functionality and user experience.
• Integrate legacy systems, third-party APIs, and internal databases into modern cloud architectures.
• Design and deploy microservices enabling real-time data exchange and system interoperability.
• Stay current with advancements in web development, cloud computing, and AI / ML technologies.
