Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist
Process 10-50 vendor invoices weekly; handle check runs and ACH payments
Manage bi-weekly payroll for just over 60 employees (mix of hourly and salary)
Handle union payroll - experience helpful but not required
Ensure accurate processing of employee deductions, taxes, and benefits
Reconcile payroll and AP accounts; assist with month-end close
Maintain vendor files and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Collaborate with HR and other departments to support payroll and accounting accuracy
Qualifications of the A ccounts Payable / Payroll Specialist
3+ years of combined AP and payroll experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Excel and accounting / payroll systems
Ability to communicate effectively and handle confidential information
Union payroll experience is a plus but not required
Degree preferred but not required for this position
