Pearson Ventures Strategy Role

Pearson Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Pearson, dedicated to investing in innovative education technology and workforce companies that align with Pearson's mission : empowering lifelong learning and driving strategic growth and innovation. Our team is responsible for strategic investments and strategic partnerships. You'll work closely with Pearson's five business divisions, as well as the corporate M&A and Strategy teams, giving you exceptional learning and networking opportunities. This role offers significant exposure to Pearson's CEO, CFO, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Investments
• Lead investments across the full lifecycle : sourcing & evaluation, transaction execution
• Portfolio Management
• Track and deliver strategic objectives for investment deals, promote collaboration and knowledge exchange, oversee governance and reporting
• Strategic Partnerships
• Identify partnership needs with business divisions and key stakeholders, develop commercial partnership opportunities, support execution, monitor progress

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The minimum full-time salary range for this position is between $165,000 - $205,000. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
