The Senior Live Event Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of all live programming. This role is a point of contact for requirements and requests by Fox Sports, Entertainment, and News teams leading up to and during a live event.
So, when a baseball game goes into extra innings or something unexpected happens on a live show, you will be making split-second decisions that directly impact viewer experience and event revenue.
This role is part of the Media Operations team, which is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across Fox networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Live Media Integration & Distribution*
- Provide support for live events and execute real-time change requests between production, sales, programming, and broadcast team
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of live programming across streaming and linear distribution platforms
- Responsible for overseeing and ensuring all commercial ad inventory airs throughout live events
- Troubleshoot and resolve live incidents and issues
- Execute operational procedures and technical workflows
- Collaboration & Partnerships*
- Play a key role in successfully pulling together live events by leading teams and coordinating with Fox Sports and management
- Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams
- Work closely with all business units and provide world-class customer service support
- Performance Improvement*
- Gather and standardize data used for decision making
- Create operations dashboards and analyses data to suggest ways to make things work better, faster, and smoother
- Develop Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to motivate the team
- People Management & Development*
- Jump on opportunities to learn new skills, especially in emerging technologies
- Utilize existing career development programs to advance career
- Build and motivate high performing teams to deliver high-quality products
- Partner with management to develop all-star teams of utility players who can work in different areas
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Understand live media integration and distribution workflow
- Familiarity with Media Supply Chain and Over the Top (OTT) Systems
- Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
- A Bachelors Degree is awesome, but not required
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range, and HDR10+ is a plus
