SCADA Analyst - Energy System Management

This role involves technical expertise and collaboration with experienced colleagues to keep critical energy systems running smoothly!
Job Description :
- Technical Support : You’ll help with communication and data exchange systems used in operation centers. These include things like Supervisory Control Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Distribution Management Systems (DMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Problem Solving : When issues arise, you’ll assist in finding solutions.
- Equipment and Software : You’ll understand and support specific tools and software used in these systems.
- Reliable Operations : Your job is to keep SCADA and ICCP systems running smoothly.
- Real-Time Data : You’ll maintain interfaces that provide up-to-date information.
- Improvement : Look for ways to enhance tools, software, and data services.
- Stay Current : Keep SCADA and ICCP tools updated with the latest technology.
- Custom Displays : Create and manage visual displays for SCADA and DMS / EMS.
- Testing and Commissioning : Ensure remote units work properly with real-time data.
- Standards Implementation : Help apply internal standards for SCADA and ICCP.
- Process Improvement : Identify issues and suggest solutions to improve SCADA processes.
- Stakeholder Support : Assist users with common SCADA-related problems.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelors OR Associates Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or related Technical field
- OR high school diploma with 2 years related military or electric utility technical experience.
- 1-5 years of Distribution or Energy Management systems, SCADA systems, and / or ICCP experience (required experience depending on level of education)
- Previous experience with SQL Database.
