Job Description : As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

You will collaborate closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress towards goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBA), to identify target behaviors and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Design behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members involved in the implementation of behavior intervention programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and promote generalization of skills across settings.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research, best practices, and ethical guidelines in the field of behavior analysis.

Qualifications :

  • Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or related field.
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Minimum of X years of experience working in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA), designing behavior intervention plans (BIP), and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards set forth by the BACB.
