Job Scope

To meet Premier Trailer Leasing operational and financial objectives by providing leadership and customer service to national account and Peak Season customers. To drive best practices throughout the company concerning operational tasks and efficiencies, to assist in the development of systems and tools to push operational productivity and customer service to national accounts.

Essential Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Manage Full Scope of National Account Customers

  • Manage Trailer Allocation to fulfill National Account contract requirements
  • Review and Manage Weekly Repairs and Rebills to National Account customers
  • Participate in weekly / monthly customer facing meetings
  • Provide and manage reporting to National Account Customers
  • Conduct monthly invoice reviews to ensure accuracy
  • Work inside customer portals to maintain inventory and billing accuracy
  • Partner with RoadCARE to manage year-round maintenance
  • Partner with Sourcing to allocate and manage factory unit deliveries, customer decal inventory
  • Partner with Regional Operations Managers to ensure Make Ready compliance at branches
  • Manage weekly rebilling cycles, including ESN Review and billing to customers
  • Partner with Inventory to manage end of life trailer cycles
  • Partner with Regional Management for Fleet Planning / back-end Peak Season returns

2. Assist with National Account Development

  • Ensure fleet readiness and availability for specific national accounts
  • Ensure uniformity of all national account rental agreement rates and terms
  • Locate available assets at branch locations to fill national account customer requests
  • Support National Account Business Unit in all areas as needed
  • Provide reports and status updates to the National Account Business Unit and corporate executives
  • Liaison between national account customer and field operations
  • Reviews and approves repairs and revenue credits
  • Maintain and monitor select large National Account A / R responsibilities
  • Assist Sr. Director in Peak Season Selection and Execution process
  • 3. Technical expertise to the company

  • Provides guidance regarding appropriate repair techniques and standards
  • Acts as a consultant to trouble shoot / solve branch operational issues
  • Acts as a liaison between the field and the Corporate Office
  • 4. Contributes additional leadership responsibility as a member of the Operations Team.

  • Participate in team meetings and planning sessions
  • Contributes to systems development and reporting
  • Communicates and implements corporate policies and projects to the field
  • Education & Qualification

  • Required : 3 - 5 years working in operations and / or experience in the trucking industry, rental or customer service environments.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree in business or similar field plus 3 - 5 years' previous experience working in operations and / or experience in the trucking industry, rental or customer service environments. Substantial Third-Party Billing and high-profile account A / R and Collections experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Flexibility : Ability to multi-task and / or stray from regular work routine in order to accommodate customer requests. Basic Computer Skills : Ability to operate Windows based programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel Skills Required.
  • Customer Service : Ability to meet and / or exceed customer's expectations regarding quality and consistency of service provided.
  • Decision Making Ability / Decisiveness : Ability to make decisions quickly based on available information by taking action and staying the course of the decided action.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Ability to communicate with others in a sincere and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport.
  • Knowledge of Repair Standards : Knowledge of efficient quality repairs in accordance with Premier Standards.
  • Leadership Ability : Ability to influence the actions and opinions of others in a desired direction.
  • Problem Solving / Diagnosis Skills : Ability to examine all possible problems by collecting evidence and weighing factual information and analyze the data for accuracy.
  • Safety Awareness : Ability to lead others to follow regulations and procedures, check equipment and recognize hazards to insure personal and public safety.
  • Communication Skills : Must have above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Initiative : Ability to identify issues and take corrective action without direct supervision.
  • Billing : Experience with Third Party Billing systems revolving around high profile customers
  • Collections : Experience with large account A / R maintenance and collection processes
  • Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to get in as well as underneath a trailer
  • Walking up and down flights of stairs as necessary as well as walking the yard
  • Technology Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Great Plains experience a plus.
