Job Scope
To meet Premier Trailer Leasing operational and financial objectives by providing leadership and customer service to national account and Peak Season customers. To drive best practices throughout the company concerning operational tasks and efficiencies, to assist in the development of systems and tools to push operational productivity and customer service to national accounts.
Essential Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Manage Full Scope of National Account Customers
- Manage Trailer Allocation to fulfill National Account contract requirements
- Review and Manage Weekly Repairs and Rebills to National Account customers
- Participate in weekly / monthly customer facing meetings
- Provide and manage reporting to National Account Customers
- Conduct monthly invoice reviews to ensure accuracy
- Work inside customer portals to maintain inventory and billing accuracy
- Partner with RoadCARE to manage year-round maintenance
- Partner with Sourcing to allocate and manage factory unit deliveries, customer decal inventory
- Partner with Regional Operations Managers to ensure Make Ready compliance at branches
- Manage weekly rebilling cycles, including ESN Review and billing to customers
- Partner with Inventory to manage end of life trailer cycles
- Partner with Regional Management for Fleet Planning / back-end Peak Season returns
2. Assist with National Account Development
Ensure fleet readiness and availability for specific national accountsEnsure uniformity of all national account rental agreement rates and termsLocate available assets at branch locations to fill national account customer requestsSupport National Account Business Unit in all areas as neededProvide reports and status updates to the National Account Business Unit and corporate executivesLiaison between national account customer and field operationsReviews and approves repairs and revenue creditsMaintain and monitor select large National Account A / R responsibilitiesAssist Sr. Director in Peak Season Selection and Execution process3. Technical expertise to the company
Provides guidance regarding appropriate repair techniques and standardsActs as a consultant to trouble shoot / solve branch operational issuesActs as a liaison between the field and the Corporate Office4. Contributes additional leadership responsibility as a member of the Operations Team.
Participate in team meetings and planning sessionsContributes to systems development and reportingCommunicates and implements corporate policies and projects to the fieldEducation & Qualification
Required : 3 - 5 years working in operations and / or experience in the trucking industry, rental or customer service environments.Preferred : Bachelor's degree in business or similar field plus 3 - 5 years' previous experience working in operations and / or experience in the trucking industry, rental or customer service environments. Substantial Third-Party Billing and high-profile account A / R and Collections experience.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Flexibility : Ability to multi-task and / or stray from regular work routine in order to accommodate customer requests. Basic Computer Skills : Ability to operate Windows based programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to get in as well as underneath a trailerWalking up and down flights of stairs as necessary as well as walking the yardTechnology Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Great Plains experience a plus.
