Responsibilities

Oversee catered lunch and snack food ordering, menu planning and maintenance of client allergens.

Manage therapeutic assistants and interns in food preparation, food safety and clean up.

Complete initial and annual pediatric nutrition evaluations related to the scope of practice for Registered Dieticians and Nutritionists.

Monitor and track client weight, height and nutritional intake

Consult and educate clients and families with individual sessions.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on weekly basis

Develop role and scope of nutrition in the BBD program

Requirements

Registered nutritionist dietitian

Ability to travel across locations

Experience working with children or clients with special needs

Who We Are

Blue Bird Day is a n intensive therapy program for children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders . Our therapies are offered in a preschool -like setting, but instead of teachers, our "classes" are run by therapists .

Our collaborative team provides occupational, physical, speech, developmental, ABA, and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals.

We have locations in Chicago's West Loop and Northcenter neighborhoods and in Wheaton , and we're growing!
