Description
The Business Development Specialist will support the strategic sales planning process and create market insights and business opportunities through research and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Create and evaluate the database of existing and high-risk clients with expiration dates to secure renewals.
- Analyze data daily to determine high potential clients and make outbound calls to secure appointments for BDE’s, including email communication and interactions.
- Create and upload qualified sales proposals.
- Act as the main point of contact and coordinate the RFP responses.
- Participates in targeted community sales & product strategy by remaining current on competitive offers, industry trends, and market activities.
- Identify and qualify property opportunities, effectively positioning Fision Work product solutions as a value, providing a property with a competitive advantage.
- Generate new building opportunity through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, customer referrals, partner relationships, and sales team collaboration.
- Create reporting to ensure business development goals are met.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
- Demonstrated ability and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales support role.
- Exceptional aptitude with business correspondence, telephone skills, computer expertise including research and data analysis.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Concur)
- Must be highly effective in two-way communication to include written, verbal and telephone skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service area.
