Ui / Frontend Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities :

Design, build, deploy, and maintain the next generation of mobile applications

Develop high-end mobile applications for various internal business customers

Employ test-driven development (TDD), collaborate with the design team for new application features, identify and fix application bottlenecks, maintain the core code, and update applications published on the App Store

Provide TDD leadership to ensure exceptional code quality

Ensure enterprise-grade performance of the application to specifications

Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks

Maintain the code and atomization of the application

Design and implement application updates

Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Master's in Software Engineering

5-7 years of experience

5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and / or Java

Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium

Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket

Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera API's, etc.

A strong working knowledge of Mobile Android Frameworks, proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI, and able to work as part of a team

Desired skills :

Experience with continuous integration and Unit tests

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
