With a passion for quality beverages and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales team to new heights.

Position Overview :

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the wine and spirits distribution sector, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Sales Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives, including market expansion, revenue growth, and brand visibility.
  • Team Leadership : Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to exceed sales targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centricity.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and retail partners.

Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service and effective communication.

  • Market Analysis : Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use this information to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.

Utilize data-driven insights to drive decision-making.

Brand Promotion : Collaborate with suppliers to create and execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the wine and spirits wholesale distribution industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel as needed. Personal vehicle required.
