Simmons Heating & Cooling of Chesapeake, VA is seeking a full-time Residential HVAC Apprentice to assist our experienced service technicians while learning this skilled trade.

This entry-level skilled trade position works a Monday - Friday, 7 : 30am - 4 : 30pm schedule and earns $15 - $16 / hour, depending on experience.

As an entry-level Residential HVAC Apprentice, you ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Simmons.
You go out in the field with experienced service technicians. While being their helper, they mentor and train you on everything from servicing heating and cooling systems to how to professionally interact with our clients.
You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. You enjoy interacting with clients and fellow employees.
You enjoy expanding your knowledge and skills. You are excited to be part of our team and can't wait to advance in this skilled trade!
RESIDENTIAL HVAC APPRENTICE QUALIFICATIONS
- Have own hand tools
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Any HVAC experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person! Are you an honest, hard-working individual?
