How You'll Make a Difference

You will e ffectively establish and lead a data governance program overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of data governance policies, procedures, and processes .

E nsuring data assets' integrity, security, and usability, ultimately supporting the organization's strategic objectives and decision-making processes.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with organizations to establish data management frameworks and governance, focusing on ensuring data relevance, security, and accuracy.
  • Experience establishing a data governance program from scratch, including planning, design, prioritization, and execution.
  • Hands-on experience establishing and leveraging data governance technology, including Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Atlan, etc.
  • Proficient in data management tools and technologies, database systems, modeling, and analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated success working with technical and business users to establish governance for large-scale efforts and solving business questions with data.
  • Understanding the organization's business processes, goals, and objectives and how data governance can support and align with them.
  • Deep understanding of data management principles, including data quality, metadata management, data integration, modeling, and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to work with various data management tools and technologies, such as data governance platforms, data cataloging tools, master data management systems, and data quality tools.
  • Skilled in managing organizational change related to data governance initiatives involving gaining buy-in from stakeholders and ensuring the successful adoption of data governance processes, policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
