Job description

Clayton Services is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas. The Electrical Engineer will have previous experience working in the wastewater industry.

Job Type : Direct Hire

Pay Rate : $110,000-$150,000 / year

Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and more.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities :

Oversee and lead the electrical design for wastewater projects
Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations
Support business development in presentation preparation and client questions
Review supplier submittals
Startup and testing of major electrical equipment
Liaise between design team and client on projects
Inspect construction and resolve electrical construction issues
Act as the technical expert on electrical power distribution and plant electrical systems
Other duties as assigned

Electrical Engineer Skills and Abilities :

Excellent communication skills

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

Computer proficiency

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Ability to read, interpret, and design schematics

Engineering design software proficiency

Electrical Engineer Education and Experience :

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required. A master's is preferred.

A minimum of five years of experience working as an electrical engineer in the wastewater industry is required.

A solid understanding of motors is required.

Some travel may be required, approximately 10-20%.
