General Summary
Lead, manage and develop the Sanitation and Pest Control programs / systems / procedures / databases for the facility. Position
has specific responsibility to standardize and continually improve sanitation, pest control, and related systems support for the facility.
Position will manage a set of matrix relationships within facility Quality, Production and Supply Chain, and influence.

This position achieves the above objectives through the supervision of 25 skilled hourly associates, crewed 24 / 7, to provide sanitation services within a 320,000 square foot fresh bakery.
Principal Accountabilities
- 35% -Develop, implement, and continually improve documented / standardized / comprehensive sanitation, environmental monitoring (EMP), and pest control programs.
- 25% - Selects, develops, and supervises a crew of skilled hourly associates, scheduled to cover 24 / 7 timeframe.
- 15% - Collaborates with Quality Assurance. Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, and Sanitation to
develop functional sanitation objectives and plant metrics.
- 15% - Collaborates with cross-functional teams in the communications of, and compliance with, Sanitation policy, expectations and requirements.
- 10% - Development of sanitation leads in the department to be able to appropriately manage and audit the cleaning activities and systems.
Developing future leaders for the organization through succession planning and growth opportunities.
Job Complexity
- Develop Sanitation, EMP, and Pest Control strategies unique to a fresh bakery environment located in a sub-tropical region that has high exposure to infestation the entire year.
- Standardize the Master Sanitation Schedule. Develop Insect, Rodent, Bird, and Reptile Control Plans.
- Troubleshoot Quality, Sanitation, EMP, and Pest Control issues.
- Provide Best Practice vehicle for all Sanitation, Pest Control, Regulatory and Quality / Food Safely programs.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in bakery or food science a plus.
- 3 + years of experience
- Expert knowledge of Master Sanitation practices.
- Strong people supervisory skills.
- Knowledge and general acumen of applicable regulatory standards (FDA, SQF, BRC, AIB).
- Ability to evaluate, develop, standards, and implement Master Sanitation schedules and Pest Control programs.
- Has credentials necessary for obtaining pesticide application licenses.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must interface with ail departmental management, as well as Corporate Quality Assurance personnel.
- Must demonstrate computer proficiency to navigate through SAP applications, budget spreadsheets and general Microsoft.

Compensation and Benefits :
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$72,900-$117,300
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
