Job Summary :
Our client is seeking an Employee Data Specialist to join their team! This position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Duties :
- Manage the involuntary and voluntary separation process with a focus on equal parts compliance and employee experience
- Coordinate, compile, and deliver documentation requests from our legal partners
- Primary point of contact for any employees with questions regarding their last day of employment
- Manage the work authorization program for the US, including vendor management, auditing for accuracy, and compliance checks
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
- Work in close partnership with the Recruitment and Payroll teams via cases
- Conduct audits of employee data in Workday
- Work collaboratively to ensure the greater team's goals are met, stepping to take on additional tasks to get the job done
- Support standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies company wide
- Assist in the training and on-boarding of new Employee Data Specialists
- Mentor junior members of the Employee Data team
- Act as a point of contact for issues that arise in the absence of the team's manager
Desired Skills / Experience :
3+ years previous experience in Human ResourcesPrevious experience resolving data issues within an HRIS - Workday preferredAbility to manage a high volume of employee casesStrong professional verbal and written communicationsAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlinesComfortable dealing with highly sensitive and confidential mattersMicrosoft Excel proficiency - VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.Formal process improvement trainingPrior experience as an HR GeneralistPrior experience in a centralized HR department or shared services organizationExperience with case management systems and WorkdayExperience working effectively in a virtual team environmentBenefits :

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
