Financial Analyst
Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning, analysis and projections for Capital Blue Cross and its subsidiaries. They will also have a role in cost allocations and certain financial reporting. The Financial Analyst will leverage their accounting, finance and business experience to assess historical financial data, assist in predicting future results and as well as drive process improvements.
Responsibilities and qualifications include :
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Reporting on financial performance and preparation for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis; identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide cost analysis process
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and tools
- Increases productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
