Manufacturing Human Resource Generalist Accelerated Development Program
The Manufacturing Human Resource Generalist Accelerated Development Program is designed as a 912-month assignment to assist the manufacturing site HR Manager with day-to-day tasks and special projects. The program participants manage their own projects to assist the team in achieving goals.
The candidate will work out of our Garland, Texas location. Identified candidates will begin July 13, 2026.
The HR Generalist ADP is "hosted" by the Global Supply Chain Organizational Development Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities.
Responsibilities
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the HR Manager with :
- Maintenance of personnel and / or training records
- Assistance with job postings and maintaining applicant tracking records
- Assisting with employee recruiting and hiring activities
- Presentations
- Administration and coordination of new employee orientation programs
- Responses to employee inquiries and questions
- Maintain knowledge of general state and federal employment compliance requirements
- Manage employee data and training records with HRIS
- Special projects as identified by the HR Manager
Qualifications
Minimum requirements :
Must have a bachelor's degree by the start of this development programMust be willing to relocate for the position AND upon completion of the program.Must be open to relocating post program for targeted rolesMust have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the futureMust have 1 year experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power PointPreferred qualifications :
Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Organizational / Industrial Psychology or Business Management.Have previous Internship / Co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams.Have previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related fieldHave previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
