The Electronics Systems Sector (ES), Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is seeking an experienced Sustainment Strategy and Growth Leader. This position reports directly to the ECS VP & GM. As the ECS Sustainment Strategy and Growth Leader, you will shape, influence, and advance life cycle product support strategies, practices, and approaches to enable effective, innovative, and proactive readiness solutions. You will be responsible for leading the ECS Product Support Advisory Group (PSAG) to grow Product Support Thought Leadership; life cycle support campaigns; mature the business area capability; tools; guiding PS business models to enhance market penetration.
Leading cross functional product support advisory group with interface and coordination across the ECS Leadership team
Manage and coordinate strategic action plans and resources across the product areas, with the Product Area leadership (PMO, Engineering, Pricing, Contracts, Subcontracts) based on overarching business area priorities
Understand the life cycle consequence and implications of design for support, planning for support, and executing support solutions across the strategic opportunities, aligned with our overall Product Line Growth Strategy
Guide the business on effective product support strategies, business models with emphasis on architecting support solutions and the associated supportability models and life cycle cost
Define, Assess, and Tailor Detailed Capture Plans that align with our LCM, BWT, and Left Shift initiatives
Provide Strategic assessment of win themes and capture tactics across a wide variety of markets and customer preferences
Assist in formulation and critique of the win strategy for a capture including trades on different tactics or design approaches based on impact of P{Win}, P{Fund}, P{Go}
Contribute strong technical / management win themes, value propositions, and sophisticated pricing strategies (Technical Design and Review Boards, Black Hats, Green Team, Price to Win, Blue Team, Pink Team, Red Team)
Building networks, working across functional and product line teams is an essential leadership trait along with the ability to influence, lead and execute product support strategies. The ideal candidate has full life cycle knowledge, broad awareness of product support strategies, business acumen as well as enhanced knowledge of life cycle cost, business models, and funding streams.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically, a bachelors degree and 15 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience
Successful proven record leading and managing multi-discipline teams
Demonstrated program / project management skills or equivalent
Strong presentation and organizational skills
Adaptable with high degree of initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in strategy development and execution, to include campaign development and value proposition development
Experience in developing and executing sustainment strategies
Top level technical understanding of operational and sustainment of military aircraft
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Demonstrated leadership skills (strategic thinking, business acumen, supervisory experience, building teams, building customer relationships)
Experience in business case development, analysis, and preparation
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range : $169630 - $288370
