The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. It’s Work That Matters. Overview Schedule : Days Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Dialysis Care Technician is responsible for equipment set-up and support services;

is responsible for providing direct patient activities under the supervision of a qualified dialysis registered nurse. Our certified Dialysis Care Technicians are our machine experts and collaborate closely and in tandem with our biomedical team.

Together, they ensure the safety and quality control of our machines on a continual basis. They are also responsible for direct patient care on a team with registered nurses.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 2+ years of current hemodialysis experience. Completion of State of California approved Dialysis Training Program.

National Certification (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) preferred. Bilingual (English / Spanish) strongly preferred.

Education / Licensure / Certifications : High School Diploma or equivalent. State of California Hemodialysis Technician Certification.

CPR certification in BCLS. Pay Scale Information $37,232.00-$61,953.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
