About the team

The TikTok Commerce team is a functional organization belonging to the commerce business line. As part of the TikTok Commerce team, this Program Manager and Leader role will help to improve communication and mutual understanding between business teams and corporate teams.

Your work will be important in helping TikTok Commerce run smoothly, and ensuring business initiatives are aligned with the overall TikTok Communication goal and strategy.

Responsibilities- Based on the interest of TikTok Commerce business, work closely with corporate, regional communications teams, CSR to jointly develop positive social impact strategy and execution for TikTok Commerce, providing professional counsel and support, to ensure message accuracy and consistency and risks mitigated.

  • Develop a strong understanding of business , to support the development of a comprehensive social impact strategy for the TikTok Commerce department projects, emphasizing privacy, inclusivity, and platform integrity.
  • Develop a solid understanding of CSR, ESG, social impact landscapes and a passion for user well-being, as well as experience in platform communications, commercial business details and social impact knowledge, in order to lead and implement related projects on behalf of the social impact team.
  • Track key metrics of progression toward goals and conduct thorough research on the social impact landscape, including evolving policies.

Ensure that the social impact proposal / plan / NGO aligns with commerce business objectives and key messaging. - Responsible for maintaining strategic partnerships with key nonprofit organizations, including administering grants and projects to include processing donation paperwork, check requests, communications to nonprofits, and project management documentation

Minimum Qualifications - Proven understanding of media landscapes and media's work mechanism. Solid experience in communications and PR is preferred.

  • Deep understanding of public opinions and media sentiment about commerce. Preferred Qualifications : - BA / BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lead a high-impact team in a collaborative and empathetic way.- Excellent strategic, analytical, and verbal communication skills.

Proven track record of writing to an extremely high standard.- Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure and ambiguity, with self-starting and motivated attitudes in a fast-paced environment.
