Your role as a Customer Service Call Specialist (Inbound Specialist)

As a Customer Service Call Specialist (Inbound Specialist) at HME Specialists, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities will include answering and distributing incoming telephone calls, as well as accepting inbound calls and personally speaking with customers.

You will be responsible for receiving orders for delivery, pick-up, discontinuance, maintenance, or changes in service, ensuring that you obtain complete and accurate information for Patient Demographics.

Additionally, you will create detailed and easily understood notes in the company system to maintain clear communication.

As part of your duties, you will also assist walk-in customers and de-escalate difficult customer situations, providing a calming and empathetic presence.

Your dedication to providing excellent customer service will be key in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with our valued clients.

What you need to be successful

To be successful as a Customer Service Call Specialist (Inbound Specialist) at HME Specialists, you should possess a set of essential skills and qualifications.

While homecare or medical office experience is preferred, it is not required for this position. You must have excellent telephone and communication skills, as clear and effective communication is vital in providing exceptional customer service.

Attention to detail is crucial, ensuring that accurate and complete information is obtained and documented. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks is essential to handle incoming calls efficiently and effectively.

Basic computer knowledge is required to navigate the company system and perform necessary administrative tasks.

Previous experience handling incoming calls or contact center experience would be beneficial in this role. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, as it allows for effective communication with a diverse range of customers.
