Sr Pricing Analyst, BNPL
The Sr Pricing Analyst, BNPL will be the SME and liaison between Sales, finance, pricing, and commercial teams. The role is expected to consult on merchant and partner deals to ensure that pricing proposals and deal constructs are supported by our financial guidelines and expected long-term value. The role is business-critical and ensures that we can swiftly close important deals to accelerate BNPL growth which drives incremental Branded TPV, Revenue, and Margin for PayPal.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with internal teams to influence the quality and efficiency of pricing processes.
- Analyze pricing data and market trends to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Oversee team performance and prioritize work to ensure timely completion of pricing initiatives.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate pricing strategies and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Explore alternative solutions to pricing challenges and recommend appropriate actions.
Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Key responsibilities :
Increase penetration of BNPL upstream presentment in global merchants (front & backbook)Develop a strong understanding of pricing structures, procedures and processes for our global BNPL productsLead pricing and contra proposals for custom merchant dealsCollaborate with sales to recommend tailored pricing packages that drive merchant acquisition and retentionAdapt our pricing & contra models as required for new product launches, new financial inputs, new internal guidelines etc.Partner with important stakeholders to assess assumptions, revenue, risk, and margin impacts of modelIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and work more efficiently while minimizing any errors in executionExperience & Skills :
Minimum of 5 years experience in BNPL or Consumer Credit Portfolio Management, FP&A, Pricing & Contra Analysis, or related functional experienceAn ideal candidate should have a quantitative / financial background with a keen understanding of data to drive actions that lead to commercial success. The role will have global scope and assist in merchant deals in all markets where we operate BNPL products.Fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills, especially when faced with ambiguity. The US national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $140,250
