Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses.
PVBH is an -bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency.

The Biller / Collector is a key member of the Patient Financial Services who is responsible for the billing, follow-up and collection of assigned patient accounts.
The position contacts patients, insurance companies and third-party payers.

Qualifications
Education : High School diploma or GED
Experience : Minimum of 1 years’ experience in healthcare collections or similar experience. Prior billing experience, computer and business software programs (Excel) preferred.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITON :
- Must be able to demonstrate special training, knowledge and skills specific to age groups, as well as job and / or program specific competency within the first three (3) months of training, and annually thereafter.
- Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray every 4 years thereafter.
- Must obtain and maintain a Class 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance
