Maintenance Supervisor

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR :

Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Technical school training a plus. Requires proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and proficient with internet.

Must have 2 - 3 years’ experience in Supervisory ( Technician or Engineer) Maintenance Management field experience.

MAJOR FUNCTION :

Responsible for providing maintenance support for assigned facility, supervision for maintenance crew in the repair alteration and modification of buildings and equipment, and a key contributor of mechanical and electrical expertise as required.

Maintenance and management of the TOTO Lakewood facility and equipment. Operation of medium and long-term capital investment plus fixed assets control.

Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.

COMPETENCIES :

• Ensures that new and existing equipment is properly designed and installed to maximize the efficiency of the plant
• Provides technical guidance for preventative maintenance programs
• Strong electrical, heating, wiring, knowledge of building systems, and troubleshooting experience.
• Provides root cause analysis and recommends alternative solutions for plant wide machinery or electrical problems
• Provides mechanical expertise to test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed
• Develops training programs and provides guidance / materials to maintenance and production personnel
• Maintains Wastewater license and perform waste treatment duties to include compliance and reporting
• Demonstrates and communicates the need to work safely
• Maintains effective practices and procedures for employees regarding safety, training, good housekeeping and discipline in accordance to applicable laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of TOTO.
• Support and enforce company policies, and safety procedures
• Maintains daily contact with maintenance crew, production personnel, production supervision and engineering
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of machinery design and applications
