Overview

We're looking for a driven, communicative, creative and highly organized Marketing Project Manager to dive into this hands on role.

With ample room to advance, you'll support our growing marketing department by executing a wide range of marketing initiatives across the enterprise and subsidiary brands.

In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional team members, stakeholders, and vendors to implement marketing and communications strategies, maintain brand consistency, and successfully meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities may include developing internal communications, coordinating events, promotions, and campaigns, implementing social media strategies and analyzing performance metrics.

You will also assist in managing the creation of effective marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.

As an experienced marketing professional, you should be proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, social media management platforms and preferably some graphic design software.

Finally, strong project management skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Role : Manage marketing projects - bringing together resources and stakeholders to drive marketing initiatives aligned to business goals;

managing budgets, timelines, resources, etc. related to projects that may include but are not limited to content strategy and development, campaign development, presentations, trade show marketing, branding, market research, communications, photoshoots, video development, etc.

across multiple locations representing the MX Holdings family of companies (Metal Exchange, Metal Exchange International, Pennex, Electro Cycle andPartnering with VP and other department managers to plan and build effective, integrated marketing strategies - both short and long-termServe as a Marketing department liaison with other teams and departments, fostering collaboration, gaining buy-in and communicating marketing objectives and resultsSelect and fully leverage project management tool to transparently and consistently communicate project details to stakeholders and project participantsCreate and / or manage the creation of content for marketing strategies - this may require you to assist in design and writing projects as neededAssist in building, documenting and training our marketing and business policies / proceduresMonitor industry trends and staying up-to-date on best practices in marketingMaintain a strong brand voice and identity across all marketing channels, while ensuring all internal customers have access to and training on proper use of brand assets, templates, guidelines, etc.

Assist in the management of the employee swag storeMaintain effective relationships with external partners such as agencies, vendors, and influencersEnsure execution of ideas in alignment with brand and to a high level of creative excellenceCollaborate (and foster collaboration in others) with cross-functional internal teams across the MX Holdings family of companies (Metal Exchange, Metal Exchange International, Pennex, Electro Cycle)As required, help to ensure that all sites / facilities have the marketing resources needed to operate and meet business goalsEnsure the required expectations are clear and approvals are acquiredCreate and deliver presentations, lead meetings, etc.

  • Seek out information and relationships related to the aluminum trading and manufacturing businessesTimely and effectively communicate any changes to project timelines, scope, budget, expectations, etc.

Ideal Candidate Will Have :

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, creative or related field from accredited college or university requiredExperience

Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on marketing experience requiredOther required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent understanding of marketing best practicesAbility to manage multiple large-scale projects effectivelyAbility to work with others and be part of the teamStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Proactive approach to project managementGood business sense and judgmentSelf-starter, with a strong drive and sense of intellectual curiosityAbility to thrive as a motivated self-starter in a fast-paced, growing environmentStrong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information clearly and conciselyFlexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriatelyAttentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitmentsDemonstrated ability to problem solve, influence others, and effect changePossess the highest level of integrity;

serving as a trusted advisor to customers and colleaguesExpertise in Microsoft Office (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams), Project Management Software, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
