Job Details :

We are searching for a passionate and detail-oriented Permanent Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing mechanical devices, including tools, engines, and machines.

They will have the opportunity to work on various projects, applying their technical knowledge and skills to create innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities :

1. Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment and packaging.

2. Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems.

3. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

4. Apply engineering principles and practices to emerging fields, such as robotics, waste management, and biomedical engineering.

5. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs.

6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.

7. Communicate directly with clients to understand project requirements, goals, and design specifications.

8. Work with OEM's to ensure products meet applicable industry standards and requirements.

9. Participate in engineering and manufacturing design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations.

10. Use CAD, Solidworks, and Autocad Electrical to create both 2D and 3D models of mechanical equipment designs.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

2. PE certification is plus.

3. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.

4. Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, and Autocad Electrical.

5. Experience in creating 2D and 3D models.

6. Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles.

7. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.

8. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with clients and team members.

9. Strong project management skills.

10. Experience working with OEM's and understanding their requirements.

11. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

12. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a wide range of professionals.
