We are hiring a passionate Events Coordinator to join our team!
Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to the Northeast Events Team, including but not limited to :
- Fielding and filtering emails that come into the NYC and Boston events inboxes
- Fielding phone calls for the NYC events office
- Inputting leads into our event booking platform
- Maintaining the events calendar
- Acting as a liaison between the events team and guest relations team
- Designing custom client event menus
- Updating existing sales collateral as needed
- Working on graphic design projects, such as creating and updating event brochures
- Maintaining event resources such as contact lists, comp sets and food manuals
- Keeping the NYC events office stocked with necessary supplies
- Act as an ambassador to Major Food Group Culture
Required Experience :
1-2 years of relevant hospitality experience, preferably in events or at a high end restaurant or hotelBachelor’s degree requiredExperience in providing administrative support in an office settingRequired Skills :
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient working knowledge of Microsoft office suiteExperience working with TripleSeat a plusExperience working with Adobe Acrobat & InDesign a plusBenefits :
