Chicago, IL - onsite 2 days / week in the loop, WFH 3 days / week
Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technical SharePoint and M365 Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of our SharePoint Online environment, along with other M365 services like Power Platform and Microsoft Teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring our collaboration platform is secure, efficient, and meets the evolving needs of the organization.
What you'll be doing
- SharePoint Online Administration :
- Manage the creation, configuration, and lifecycle of SharePoint sites and subsites.
- Implement site permissions and security best practices.
- Create and manage custom content types, workflows, and information architecture.
- Monitor site usage and performance, and perform optimizations as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SharePoint Online features and functionalities.
- M365 Administration :
- Manage user accounts, groups, and licenses within the M365 environment.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Teams settings for collaboration and communication.
- Administer Power Platform services including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Assist with user adoption and provide support for M365 functionalities.
- Implement security best practices for M365 services.
- Infrastructure and Configuration :
- Work with IT teams to ensure optimal integration of SharePoint Online with other systems.
- Configure backup and disaster recovery solutions for SharePoint and M365 data.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to SharePoint and M365.
- Stay informed on the latest security threats and implement mitigation strategies.
Skills we're seeking
- 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Administration
- Must have strong experience with SharePoint Online
- Must have strong experience with SharePoint Servers and Infrastructure
- Must have experience with M365 administration, including Power Platform and Microsoft Teams
Nice to haves
- SharePoint or M365 Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree, preferably in an IT related field
