Overview

Legal Recruiter | Business Solutions Manager @ Adams & Martin Group

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with an established real estate law firm with offices all over California. Their Concord office is seeking a Paralegal to join a fast-paced team. This is a full-time position, starting on-site with the opportunity to transition to a 1 day remote hybrid role. The Paralegal will support attorneys handling tenant-contested evictions and ensure the efficient and timely production of documents during the trial phase of the unlawful detainer process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research in support of eviction cases and trial preparation.
  • Assist with drafting legal motions, discovery requests, and correspondence under attorney supervision.
  • Perform e-filing and paper filing with local courts following applicable procedures.
  • Draft letters, legal notices, and other documents.
  • Handle administrative duties as required by the legal department.
  • Communicate with clients to assist with document collection and case updates.
  • Support attorneys in trial preparation and case management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role at a law firm.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience drafting legal documents.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM and proficient with computers.
  • Preferred : Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with unlawful detainer procedures and local court rules.
  • Experience using ProLaw or similar case management software is a plus.
