Engineering Center for Aviation Studies
The Center of Aviation Studies is accepting applications for a Part-time Semester Lecturer appointment to teach AVN 3100 : Instrument Flight Fundamentals course in the Center of Aviation Studies for Summer semester.
Duties include but are not limited to : holding office hours; grading assignments and submitting grades; may participate in curriculum development and course coordination.
The course schedule will be determined in coordination with the selected candidate.
All courses are taught in person at The Ohio State University Airport in Columbus, Ohio.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Certified Flight Instructor FAA certificate OR Certified Ground Instructor FAA Certificate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State’s Shared Values.
- Experience in a FAA Part 141 Flight Training Program.
