Meridell Achievement Center is seeking a Recreation Therapist to join its fun and energetic Recreation Therapy department!
Meridell Achievement Center is a nationally recognized -bed private residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral and neurobehavioral problems.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
- Must love animals and be willing to work with our animal care theraphy
- Experience working with children and / or adolescents is preferred
- Current certification from National Council in Therapeutic Recreation Certification and / or Consortium for Therapeutic Recreation / Activities Certification required
- Valid Class C Driver's License (with good driving record)
- Current CPR required (Meridell willing to provide training)
- Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Must be able to meet physical demands of lifting and moving over pounds, walking and standing for long periods of time, and running for short periods of time
