A company is looking for an Enterprise Denial Analyst responsible for reviewing technical denial claims and optimizing financial outcomes in the revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities
Review technical denial claims and submit reconsiderations or appeals
Conduct root cause analysis of denied payments and maintain third-party payer relationships
Collaborate with management to resolve atypical denial issues and analyze emerging trends in payer practices
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school graduate with four years of experience in coding, billing, insurance follow-up, collections, or denial management in a hospital / clinical setting
Prefer an Associate's degree or higher in a health or business-related field with three years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of hospital billing, denials, appeals, and third-party contracts
Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing the healthcare industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
