WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview) :

Under general guidance, collect and evaluate data from organizational units and prepare recommendations for deliverables including financial plans and / or financial analysis.

Provide business leaders with financial forecasts to support short and long - term decision making. Provide support, development and / or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.

This is a Remote position for candidates living in NC, SC ,GA, KY, TN, FL, MN & VA

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities) :

  • Conduct and document moderate to complex financial analysis projects.
  • Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control.
  • Provide monthly revenue and / or expense analyses and reports.
  • Monitor operating budget process and allocations. Provide analysis to determine present and future performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Technical Skills : Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, Oracle, Salesforce
  • Scope
  • Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying subject matter knowledge. Knowledge based acquired from several years of experience in particular area.

Work independently and may instruct, or coach other professionals.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications ) :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Experience : Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Management Experience : N / A

A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.

Skills & Abilities : Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable.

Ability to work on a team.

  • Travel : May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout the Red Cross system.
  • Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.

e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
