Job Title : Facilities Coordinator

Job Description

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing site services, ensuring vendor compliance, and maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for all team members. This role encompasses a range of duties including overseeing security, janitorial, waste removal, and landscaping services, as well as supporting facilities operations and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee services such as security, janitorial, waste removal, and landscaping.
  • Ensure vendors meet service-level expectations for safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all team members.
  • Understand and support key processes to ensure reliability of facility systems.
  • Provide additional support when needed or when primary contacts are unavailable.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support inspections.
  • Collaborate with EHS and Quality teams to align services with regulatory standards.
  • Manage day-to-day vendor activities and support repairs, upgrades, and improvements.
  • Ensure scope, safety compliance, and service outcomes are met.
  • Partner with People, Operations, and Leadership teams to support on-site events.
  • Ensure facilities systems and services run smoothly during celebrations, trainings, and outreach.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance roles, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
  • Proven vendor management and project coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS for preventive maintenance and asset tracking.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Customer service experience, especially when working with executive teams and vendors.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience managing site services such as security, janitorial, waste, and landscaping.
  • Event coordination experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours based on facility needs.

    Work Environment

    The Facilities Coordinator will work on-site across three separate buildings within a manufacturing environment. This is not a remote position. The role operates on a day shift, Monday through Friday, with a start time typically around 7 : 30 AM but may vary between 7 : 00 AM and 9 : 00 AM based on vendor schedules.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
