2026 Summer Intern - Global Product Strategy

Global Product Strategy (GPS) provides strategic business direction from research through to development, commercialization and medical excellence, collaborating with functions and affiliates to shape the future of medicine.

This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site.

The MBA internship position is offered in the strategic insights team, which sits within GPS and shapes commercial planning for early stage through launched programs. This team applies customer perspectives, critical thinking, expertise in external markets, forecasting, and market research to solving real business problems, influence cross-functional team strategy and inform teams' business objectives and decision-making.

An MBA intern in the team will work directly with cross-functional Genentech / Roche teams and serve as a critical internal strategic thought partner and influencer in a disease or other business area (e.g., pipeline or portfolio). You will have the opportunity for direct collaboration with members of Marketing, Medical Affairs, Development, Regulatory, Business Development, Portfolio Planning, and Pricing / Market Access. Your work will directly contribute to internal programs and ultimately make an impact for healthcare providers and patients.

Program Highlights

• Intensive 12-week, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of California is $35.00 - $55.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
