Outside Sales Parts & Service Representative

Stewart & Stevenson Power Products is now hiring for an Outside Sales Parts & Service Representative. This position is located in Commerce City, CO. The role involves selling parts and services for various industries including on-highway trucking, fleet delivery, construction, mining, oil, and gas well services, emergency services, and industrial machinery within the Denver, CO and Commerce City, CO territories.

Responsibilities include :

• Generating new customer accounts and servicing existing ones.
• Achieving sales goals and forecasts.
• Assisting in marketing and sale of new products.
• Reviewing jobs for component costing.
• Interface with other departments to oversee project development.
• Monitoring sales orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Computing installation or production costs and preparing bid specifications.
• Establishing and maintaining business relationships within the petroleum industry.
• Planning and organizing sales strategy.
• Resolving customer problems and issues.
• Ensuring strong market share of products and services.
• Attending sales and trade meetings and reading related publications.
• Demonstrating and explaining the use of installed equipment.
• Arranging for installation and testing of machinery.
• Evaluating sales performance results.
• Providing management reports on market conditions.
• Conducting all business transactions ethically.

Qualifications include :

Physical activities and requirements meet standard office criteria. Working conditions include office environments, on-site customer locations, and occasional shop / manufacturing exposure. Salary is $44,200 plus 8% commission on gross profit for parts and service, with a $650 car allowance. The position includes a 6-month commission guarantee of $2,500 per month.
