Manufacturing Supervisor

Overview

AvtechTyee is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee one of our production lines - safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity. This role assists planning in the development of the production plan and ensures all direct manufacturing personnel are trained and equipped to be successful.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

• Meeting all defined standards and productivity goals.
• Releasing and prioritizing work orders to achieve production schedules, assigning work and estimating worker hour requirements for successful completion of job assignments while meeting delivery, quality, and cost metrics.
• Interpreting specifications, blueprints and job orders to correctly assign duties.
• Meeting production schedules, efficiencies and utilization targets.
• Recommending and initiating measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality within company guidelines.
• Proactively working to improve working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, departments or work crew.
• Analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving work problems.
• Estimating, requisitioning and inspecting material as required.
• Coordinating with other supervisors to align activities across departments; collaborating cross-functionally to deliver business results.
• Developing a superior workforce by working with HR to recruit, interview, select, hire; coaching, mentoring, and developing staff; cross-training to reduce business vulnerability; providing performance feedback through recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when necessary.
• Ongoing self-development and personal growth as an employee.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need To Succeed

This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization.

Compensation and Benefits

The target wage / salary range for this role may be within $90k - $120k plus annual bonus, depending on education and experience. We may look at a broader range for the right candidate.
