What Success Looks Like
You take a print, translate GD&T into setup decisions, and produce first-article parts that pass inspection the first time. You keep machines running smoothly, adapt to changing priorities, and support your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; apply geometric tolerances.
- Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and depth gauges to confirm quality.
- Monitor cycles, adjust tooling and offsets to maintain capability.
- Perform routine maintenance and assist with minor repairs.
- Uphold a clean, safe, organized work environment.
- Collaborate to achieve production and quality goals.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.2+ years of machining in manufacturing or repair settings.Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.Reliable transportation to Woodridge, IL and ability to work 2nd shift.Preferred Background
CNC programming familiarity (preferred, not required).Manual machining experience.Technical schooling or machining certification.Experience in large manufacturing or repair shops.Grow With Us
