Description : Responsibilities :
Position Overview :
Responsible for supporting a mainframe critical to customer service and work management, with involvement in a transformation project to migrate away from the current platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform day-to-day mainframe operations, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Capture screens and documentation for audits; validate technical direction from vendors
- Interact with auditors and support audit requirements.
- Apply software upgrades and manage mainframe licenses.
- Question and validate vendor recommendations analytically, without confrontation.
Technical Requirements :
Strong experience with ZOS.Familiarity with Cool : Gen, Endeavor (CA Endevor SCM) and RACF.Advanced troubleshooting skills.Prior mainframe experience required; utility industry experience is optional.No specific programming language required if candidate is a senior mainframe systemsDell DLM (Disk Library for Mainframe) experience neededOther Details :
