As the Help Desk Technician you will p rovide support to employees or internal customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues.

Ensure the proper day-to-day operation of internal technology applications and equipment. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, servers, and / or network equipment.

Perform updates, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks. May also manage phone and email assistance as well.

Primary Responsibilities : Install, maintain, and ensure operation of all devices including desktop / laptop computers, printers, and peripherals for 400+ users.

Provide first level diagnostics and support for Windows computers, iPhones, MS - Office products and other hardware and software.

Must be able to troubleshoot problems and follow through to effective resolution. Install, configure, and support other specialized software and provide end user support.

Image laptops and desktops during initial deployment, maintenance, and end of life replacements Maintain and complete tickets for incident resolution and IT asset inventory records.

Perform special project assignments as deemed necessary by IT management. Assist the network Administrator and Server Administrator with their duties as needed.

Provide on call support to the user community occasionally on evenings and weekends. Maintain knowledge of current computer, software, and networking trends in industry Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience : A 2-year college degree in Information Technology or a combination of experience and technical training is required.

Technical training and certifications such as CompTIA A+ is preferred. Experience with ITSM Tools 5 years of prior help desk and customer service experience, working with PC’s and s oftware support is required.

Bilingual (Spanish) required. Knowledge of basic networking concepts Must be meticulous; communicate effectively via oral and written communications with all levels of employees, customers, and vendors.

Initiative-taker willing to work through and seek answers to ongoing new requirements. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
