Senior Manager, Data And Analytics Strategy

At CVS Health, we are committed to transforming health care through innovative data and analytics solutions. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data and Analytics Strategy to join our growing Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategic analytics initiatives that support pharmaceutical client engagement and drive business growth. This position is ideal for a highly analytical and client-focused professional with deep expertise in pharmaceutical data and a strong ability to translate business requirements into analytics plans and subsequently, analytics insights into strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions and support the Vice President and Executive Director in driving innovation and performance across the Data and Analytics portfolio.

Responsibilities include :

  • Leading the design and development of tailored analytics solutions that address pharmaceutical client needs across commercial teams.
  • Overseeing the business performance and effectiveness of projects aligned to the Data and Analytics portfolio.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and being a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical data, commercial analytics, and marketing strategy.
  • Implementing functional strategies with functional teams across various internal functions to ensure seamless execution of analytics initiatives.
  • Supporting strategic planning and development of next-generation analytics capabilities.
  • Contributing to thought leadership efforts, including client presentations and industry engagements.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and providing insights to optimize solution effectiveness and client impact.
  • Influencing department strategy on next generation of analytics capabilities to maximize enterprise results.
  • Proactively identifying client needs and translating them into tailored analytics solutions that drive measurable value.

Required Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or client solutions in the pharmaceutical data and analytics space.
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering impactful analytics projects and solutions.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, including marketing and commercial strategy.
  • Experience in using pharma industry data products to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts through visuals.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and solution development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, unstructured problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working within or in partnership with large healthcare organizations.
  • Experience with novel AI and Data Science capabilities.
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree required in relevant field of study (e.g. Data Science, Public Health, Business, Life Sciences).
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in relevant fields preferred (e.g. Data Science, Public Health, Business, Life Sciences).
  • Pay Range :

    The typical pay range for this role is : $67,900.00 - $199,144.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
